Shot on location in Tanzania for Action Against Hunger, this film highlights the challenges of menstrual health and the simple, affordable solutions that can make a transformative difference.
Toby spent a day with both girls, sensitively capturing their routines from getting ready for school to walking the miles it takes to get there. His experience in interviewing and working in challenging environments allowed him to gain the girls’ trust and tell their story with honesty and dignity.
TM Studios has travelled extensively with Action Against Hunger, producing films that have raised significant funds and awareness for the charity’s vital work, while consistently handling sensitive subjects with care and respect.
